About the event
The Undertones have given us fifty years of sharp punk and power pop. From Derry, their breakthrough came in 1978 with "Teenage Kicks," which BBC legend John Peel played back-to-back. "Here Comes the Summer," "Jimmy Jimmy," and "My Perfect Cousin" followed, along with four acclaimed albums. After a sixteen-year hiatus, The Undertones returned in 1999 with singer Paul McLoone, who breathed new life into their repertoire. Their catchy, short songs and energetic shows still make them a crowd favorite, whether at festivals or in live venues. Good songs never lose their shine.bottom of page
