After bowling Jack White over with their patchwork blend of classic metal, ravenous punk, gritty indie and shoegaze, Die Spitz have risen fast. When passion, friendship, identity and artisticity come together, it can feel as if everything hits you at once. In that tangle of influences punk band Die Spitz moves effortlessly between different styles and modes of expression. If the world of rock music were an ice cream parlor, the quartet from Austin would have tried every flavor, overturned the freezer and danced with everyone.
